Witamy Do Chronicles by Jason Wagner When most people think of Pittsburgh, PA the first thing that comes to mind is the Steelers. Other things are bridges, steel mills, the three rivers, and Heinz ketchup. Sadly enough when most skaters think of Pittsburgh they probably think of the same things. Some may say Shady Skates, the green banks, bombing hills, or various other small isolated spots littered throughout the city, but for a long time this city has lacked something big to skate. While this is my opinion, I'm sure other fellow vert, pool, and transition riders would have to agree. Many have actually moved on just because of this reason. The ones who have stayed just have not had the fire burning enough to do something about it. Finally someone decided to throw the hammer down, get some property, and make it happen. |
