Travel leads to new experiences. Being one to savor and enjoy stuff that I eat, new experiences of the culinary variety are noteworthy to me. I could write about how these Florida boys cut loose and raged at the Supersuckers show, their blend of country and punk meshing with the musical tastes of the IRS. Another unfamiliar add-on to all the fun we had was the game of horseshoes and then there's a homemade concrete backyard bathtub where evening rip rides were seized. It'd be easy to go on and on about the amount of concrete roundwall and vertical that gets abused at high speeds under the influence of cheap beer down in Florida. Instead I'd rather detail the new and exciting foods I skarfed down. The last time I was in Florida I had Sushi for the first time, this is not a Floridian dish, but then again neither is fondue, and this too was a Florida first for me. Steak cut in to little cubes, stuck on the end of a stick and submerged in an electric pot of oil. It's a good meal for conversation since one or two bites get cooked at a time. Then there's sauces for dipping, we had 3 at our table: thousand island (ketchup, mayonaise, and relish I believe), mayonaise with chopped onions and peppers, and mayonaise with swiss cheese. This ain't no weight watchers' special.

Jim Webb is unique. Consider it an honor to see him frontside grind.
