Big Tim did like a thousand f/s grinds in a row with power. That pool coping just feels fuckin great and sounds even better. Murph skated long and hard, layback goodness, and train wreck slams. Rob Murphy was killing it too, you could spot his longstanding relationship with the cement blocks. Metal Man seemed to fill in with every band that played. Davey Rogers did b/s 180 blunts off the extension and his cute little baby and wife were there too. Snibbe was going for his no-comply tailslides with borrowed sneaks (care of Donney Barley). Eastie was killing it and throwing tantrums. Kruse, Clint, Ellis, and other Team Pain members were representing once again. Doug, Larry, and Jen brought the Maximus pride - Doug did Miller flips no problem. Day turned to night and people were giggling, stumbling and wandering around the picnic site. Pupils were bulging, and all I know is I found more reasons to skate than not to skate. Things were just too good (as long as I kept moving). Then the lights shut out over the ramp and the owner of the property started shouting about the cops on his back. Funny how a police presence turned us loose from skateboards to motor vehicles, luckily everyone made it home okay.
