I drove the Digger (Mike Bouarnick), Dan Dow, and myself to the park where we met up with Paul from Cape Cod. On the ride through the city these guys told me I could haggle with Zito, that if I rode there all the time I wouldn't have to pay. The shop took over more of go-cart territory by then and the mini ramp had been replaced by a street course. I was amazed that as I rode across the flat of the big ramp my t-shirt flapped in the breeze. I did my first axle stall and jumped for joy like a dork. Bouarnick said that was cool because here I was, fixin to be old enough to become a man, and skateboarding made me spaz out like a little kid.
