The ramp was sketchy, some kind of kooky media event but we were all amped to skate vert. We could feel the deck shake while we waited for a run and one of the biker's pegs poked a hole right through the flat. Cheap, slippery, masonite on a rickety steel frame and Bacon just charged it anyway. Due to a diving accident he's rollin in a wheelchair these days. You missed out on the chance to session with him but he's still got that positive energy. You're gonna feel it when you see the photo he contributed to this issue.
