Redsand hosted a Blockhead reunion party thrown by Dave Bergthold on a Sunday afternoon. Fluf and a few other bands played. Tons of Blockhead memorabilia was set up that documented a small part of skateboard history back to the 80's. Josh Nelson is pictured here, grabbing tail over a hip in the Redsand Ramp in Encinitas, CA. The ramp was abused by many skaters which, quite frankly, I do not remember because I was not in "reporter" mode, sorry. It was a good time. Not the kind of time you have at the various parks around SoCal but a more backyard, screw it, kind of good time. | previous | next |
